Meeting the British Ambassador

6th Class had the privilege of meeting the British Ambassador  to Ireland, Kara Owen at Edgeworthstown Library today.  The meeting celebrated the launch of a special 'Friendship Postcards' exhibition as part of the Maria Edgeworth Literary Festival. The project highlights the historical literary connection between Jane Austen and Maria Edgeworth. All pupils from Senior Infants to 6th Class created postcards for the Postcard Exhibition in the library.
