Biodiversity Talk
20th Oct 2025

The Senior Classes were invited to the library today for a talk on biodiversity by Adam Mulvihill, Biodiversity Officer, Longford County Council. We learnt about creatures of the bog and forest as well as invasive varieties of plants and animals. We had to group plants and animals into three groups: bog, forest and invasive. It was a bit of fun trying to beat the teachers. Thank you to Edgeworthstown Library and Adam Mulvihill for an interesting educational talk.
